How to reset Canon Pixma IP1900 wasted ink


Unplug the power cord and USB cable.

Open the lid and hold down the power button.

Plug the power cord.

Close the door and release the power button.



Ready, your machine is ready for use!

Drilling:

Drill a hole where the red arrow indicates in the next photo.


Preparation:

Fill the syringe with 15 cc of ink using a needle to collect the ink









To remove air from the syringe do the following:
Place the syringe upwards
and gently squeeze until the ink comes out
of the needle.









Refill:


For the drilled hole - as shown in first photo, - put the needle to the bottom
and inject the ink slowly, gradually removing the needle out.
This is to better spread the ink in the sponge interior.


When ink appears at the hole, the cartridge is complete.
Dry and cover the hole with adhesive tape.


Wait:

It is best to rest the cartridge 10 minutes with head down.
Do not rest on an absorbent paper.
This is done in order to distribute the ink evenly over the sponge.

The cartridge is ready for use.
